CYO Sports
Church of the Transfiguration is proud to offer opportunities for local children to play organized sports. We currently offer boys’ and girls’ basketball and track & field. Other sports offered by CYO include volleyball, cross country, and softball. Requirements (of the following):
- Attend CCD classes at Transfiguration with good attendance, or;
- Live within the Transfiguration Parish Boundary
Our 2022-2023 Season has started and we are no longer accepting registration.
2022-2023 All Girls’ CYO Basketball – Important Dates
- Practice begins: Monday, January 16, 2023
- Coaches Certification Workshops: Feb. 9, 15
- First day of League Play: Friday, February 24
- No CYO Activities: Holy Thursday through Easter Sunday, April 6 – April 9
- Diocesan Girls Playoffs (West Diocese Teams): Saturday, May 20 – Wednesday, May 24
